Microsegmentation is an essential element of a “zero trust” approach to security, says Ritesh Mishra, global head, IT infrastructure and security at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, a multinational pharmaceutical company based in India.

Microsegmentation helps in creating secure zones in data centers and cloud deployments which allow companies to separate workloads and secure them individually.

“There are 7900 employees who are working from home. All are enabled using zero trust network,” says Mishra.
